(Re) Discover Your Strengths is an interactive learning designed to help talent development professionals, coaches, leaders, and practitioners explore CliftonStrengths as a practical lens for individual and organizational development.
This discovery session progresses from Awareness → Application → Deeper Integration.
This session is designed to welcome both — those who are new to CliftonStrengths and those who have used the assessment before — while also providing value to practitioners who work with other assessment and development frameworks.
You'll explore the CliftonStrengths philosophy, learn how talents can be developed into strengths, and begin recognizing how their natural patterns show up in the workplace.
You are encouraged to know your Top 5 CliftonStrengths, but it’s absolutely fine if you don’t. Whether you’ve taken the assessment before or are exploring your strengths for the first time, this session is an opportunity to (re) discover your unique strengths.
Completing the CliftonStrengths assessment is NOT required to participate.
In this session, you will:
- Describe the foundational concepts behind CliftonStrengths.
- Identify patterns in how you naturally think, feel, and behave at work.
- Explore how strengths can influence communication, collaboration, decision-making, and contribution.
- Recognize that strengths can be both productive and potentially overused.
- Identify one way you can begin using a strength more intentionally.

Optional Virtual After Party:
A short, informal networking activity following the session where you can share your pets (or loved ones) and have fun identifying possible strengths themes in those who are close to you.
ABOUT YOUR PRESENTER:
John Labiento is a Learning & Organizational Development professional focused on leadership development, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. With nearly five years of corporate Learning & Development experience, he partners with leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen leadership capabilities, support employee growth, and connect people-development initiatives to business performance.
As a Certified Gallup CliftonStrengths Coach, John is passionate about helping individuals and teams recognize their strengths, unlock their potential, and apply their talents to achieve meaningful personal and organizational outcomes. His experience spans leadership development, strengths-based coaching, individual development planning, performance management, and enterprise learning initiatives.
Prior to transitioning into corporate Learning & Development, John worked in higher education as a language educator and learning specialist. He holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish and a master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). He brings a people-centered, outcomes-driven approach to developing talent, strengthening leadership effectiveness, and supporting organizational success.
